The FAQ
Do you Travel?
I am based in Crawford, Cape Town. R6 per KM will be billed for additional travelling beyond selected package from Crawford. If venue is more than 1 hour and 30 minutes drive from Crawford, we request a one night stay for two in a modest B&B, and if the venue is more than 4 hours away, we request a two night stay for two people.
How long have you been doing this?
I have been doing photography since 2015 and went into it full time in 2019.
How many photos do we get?
Lifestyle shoots are between 80-150 high resolution images.
Wedding shoots are anywhere between 500-900 high resolution images, depending on the package you have chosen.
How do we get our photos?
You will get 5-10 sneak peek images of your day, which you can post to your social media. :)
For Lifestyle shoots , you will be sent an email that contains a link to download your images via Pixieset.
A USB drive is included in our Wedding Investment Packages and has the high resolution images of your special day. We will also email you a link to an online gallery
Can I have your raw files?
Unfortunately not, sorry! The RAW photos are unprocessed and are not the final product. Giving over RAW images doesn't properly display our work and can negatively affect our brand if edited or displayed differently.
For that reason, we will not be giving them out.
Whats your turn around time?
The full digital gallery will be delivered between 10-12 weeks. The online gallery will come first & the USB or other add ons will come after. You will receive about 5-10 sneak peeks that you can share with your family & social media the week after your session/wedding.
How do we book you?
Fill out the Contact Form or you can pop me an email mail@mishcatissong.com with your query / wedding date, the preferred wedding package and venue details and I will confirm my availability. A signed bridal contract & 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking.
Do i need to provide food for you at our wedding?
Food is fuel :) We ask that a meal will be provided to the Photographer(s) at the appropriate time, preferably while the Bride & Groom are eating. This gives us enough time to finish so that when there are speeches or something important we are ready to roll!

Can we meet before we book you?
Of course you can :)
I am based Cape Town, and always up for a good cup of coffee. Just be sure to email me and I will get back to you.
A video call will be just as good if we cannot meet in person.
Is the 50% deposit refundable?
Unfortunately not, the 50% retainer fee is not refundable. Once your date is booked, I will turn away any other job offers for that particular day. So be sure that you are certain you want Mishca Tissong Photography to tell the story of your special day.
